      Developing a Friendship

The process of developing a relationship that lasts a long time goes through many stages. First, you should get to know your potential friend by talking to them and looking for things in common. Therefore, you will know what kind of influence they will leave on you. Secondly, spend time with them and invite them to your place or go out together. Moreover, share personal experiences, but don’t pressure them to do the same. Later on in the relationship, try to have a positive influence on your friend. However, except your friend’s flaws and don’t try to change who they are. Finally, be a good friend for better or worse. Listen to your friend and help them when you know they need it because “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.
